AAHSCCFL Visits the Middleburg Museum

On February 19, 2026, officers and members of the African American Historical Society of Clay County, Florida (AAHSCCFL) visited the Middleburg Museum to introduce the organization and share its mission, purpose, and vision for preserving African American history in Clay County.
President Janice Tucker, Vice President Dr. Larry Richardson, Advisor Dr. Cheryl S. Gonzalez, and Board Members Ken Francis and Doris Jordan represented the Society. The visit provided an opportunity to build relationships, explore future collaboration, and strengthen connections among organizations committed to preserving and sharing Clay County's history.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE
The visit marked an important step in AAHSCCFL's efforts to build partnerships with local historical organizations. By connecting with the Middleburg Museum, the Society continues to expand opportunities for collaboration, education, research, and the preservation of stories that reflect the diverse history of Clay County.
MIDDLEBURG MUSEUM DONATION PRESENTATION

On April 14, 2026, the Middleburg Museum presented a donation to the African American Historical Society of Clay County, Florida (AAHSCCFL), Inc. at the Orange Park Public Library.
