Our Mission

Our mission is to document, preserve, and serve as a repository for historical artifacts while presenting the history and heritage of African Americans in Clay County, Florida, through educational programs, awareness initiatives, research, and the dissemination of information that supports the organization's charitable and educational purpose.

Our Purpose

The African American Historical Society of Clay County, Florida, is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing our community's history for present and future generations.
